Working with Love to Glorify God

Work. Sometimes it’s stressful, sometimes it’s fun. The Bible says in Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” God wants everything we do to be for Him. To glorify Him. Whether we’re a waitress in a small town diner or a professional singer singing for thousands of people each night. Proverbs 16:3 says “Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.”

God made us with a purpose. And that purpose is to glorify Him and bring the lost to know Him. God wants for us to show others His love. In fact, 1 Corinthians 10:31 talks about this, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Sometimes it’s hard to do some things. Especially at work. Just know that God is there. And nothing is better than doing something for His glory. Nothing.

Now go, let God work in you, bringing forth and shining out your Innermost Unfading Beauty.

Glorifying God in all you do.

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week!

Blessings,

~Kris

    1. Most of them i remember from some point in my life. although, a few I have to admit i look up on the internet under “bible verses for…” I have a lot of verses in my bible underlined and it seems that when I write God will bring them to mind. I have to look them up-but I remember that they had something to do with what I’m writing about. And i also have a dozen or so framed verses hanging in my room-so that helps too. 😀
